HUNGARIAN POLO CLUB

The Hungarian Polo Club is Hungary's biggest polo club with its roots dating far back as 1896 the first known polo match was played at Budapest, organized by Geza Andrassy. Continued into the 1999 at Tabajd set on a valley. Visitors, corporate clients welcome.

The Hungarian Polo Club boasts 2 international quality polo field, 2 stick and ball grounds, wooden horse,... pony hire, 4 stables & Clubhouse and infrastucture to support and maintain it. The club organizes and hosts several tournaments including: BMW Diplomats Tournament, Budapest Challenge Cup, Hungarian Cup, President Cup, International Summer Cup, Amateur Cup.

 

Our commitment to running professional events starts from the ground up.

 

Polo season will start at april. We have Argentine coach helpers for polo education.

Modern polo is played between two teams of four, on a field 300 yards by 160 yards, with posts on either end delineating a goal that is eight yards wide.

The winner is the team that scores the most goals in a six-period game.

Each period, also known as a chukker, is seven minutes long.

No time-outs are allowed except for penalties, or in the event a player or horse is injured, and no substitutions are allowed unless a player has to be replaced.

Season start in HUNGARIAN POLO CLUB at spring time.

More or less at april we start stick & ball. In every year we have International tournaments, forexample:

 Nations Cup and Diplomats Cup when teams are comming from Austria, Slovakia, Italy, or from England. From 2011 We have a BMW Cup.
